About the Founder
EngineerBari™ was founded by Md. Shofiqul Islam, an experienced electrical engineer with over 14 years of professional experience in power systems, high-voltage substations, testing & commissioning, and industrial projects.
Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in the testing, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of critical power infrastructure across Bangladesh. His expertise includes transformer testing and commissioning up to 520 MVA, GIS testing and commissioning up to 400 kV substations and other specialized electrical engineering services.
He has worked closely with international engineering teams, EPC contractors, utilities, and leading organizations including Hyosung Heavy Industries, contributing to the successful execution of large-scale power and industrial projects while ensuring compliance with international standards, safety requirements, and operational reliability.
During his years in the field, he recognized a common challenge faced by industries and engineers alike: accessing qualified engineering expertise, specialized equipment, and trusted technical support was often difficult and fragmented. This realization inspired him to establish EngineerBari™—a dedicated engineering platform designed to connect industries, businesses, and individuals with reliable engineering solutions and professional expertise.
Today, EngineerBari™ is working to build Bangladesh’s leading engineering ecosystem by providing engineering services, equipment rental, calibration solutions, technical consultancy, training, and industrial procurement support through a single trusted platform.
